SEE (Class 10) Exam Results 2025: How Many Students Passed and Failed?

 


The results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for Class 10 students were published today, June 27, 2025. Every year, thousands of students across Nepal take this important exam, marking the end of their basic school education. Total Students and Overall Results This year, 514,017 students took the SEE exam. About 47.9% passed and received a grade (GPA). Approximately 52.1% did not pass and received a non-graded (NG) status. In simple words: About 48 students out of every 100 passed the exam. About 52 students out of every 100 failed. Sudurpashchim faces challenges, with only about 32 students out of 100 passing. District Highlights Some districts reported very low pass rates. For example, Parsa district had only about a 6% pass rate, meaning most students there could not pass the exam this year. What Happens Next? Students who failed in one or two subjects can take supplementary (upgrade) exams scheduled for August 2025. This gives them a second chance to pass and continue their education in Grade 11. Those who fail in more subjects may need to repeat the exam next year.
